Overview

Ckÿph Yaz Dab was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1185, by Zèlëm Zÿhbafral. The establishment of Ckÿph Yaz Dab was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ckÿph Yaz Dab's construction back out of the project. Zèlëm Zÿhbafral pushed on reguardles, and Ckÿph Yaz Dab was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ckÿph Yaz Dab was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ckÿph Yaz Dab is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Ckÿph Yaz Dab is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of crampt cobblestone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The robustly designed timber walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Ckÿph Yaz Dab seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do. On second glance, that chaos continues into adulthood. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.
